So, as most of you know I'm engaged!! It's very exciting to me to know that I will be marrying the man of my dreams. It's even more exciting to know that my last name will be Presley, which means I'll be somewhat related to Elvis! :)
I've never grown up imagining what my wedding would be like. But it's strange to me that once I said, "yes!" I had a good idea of what kind of dress I wanted, what I wanted my colors to be, the style of the wedding. It all just 'came to me'. I mean I probably have Pinterest to thank for a few of the ideas. :)
I also want to get married in the fall. I love the colors of the trees, the way the air smells, and all of the memories that go along with the fall season. It's football time, which means marching band, which brings back so many fun memories. It's also when a lot of towns have fall festivals with caramel apples and kettle corn. I also love the fall because it reminds me of the trips we would take to my grandparents. We would build piles of leaves and jump in them, take walks in the woods, we would even have bonfires at my uncles house. I absolutely love fall.
BUT.....
Corey and I felt like we would be rushed if we had it this fall. He's still in school and I'm not about to have a panic attack planning that fast. I'm a procrastinator, taking my time until the very last minute. Planning small things here and there. Plus I like the idea of being engaged. I love saying fiance'. And on some occasions I love planning this wedding. But it's also been a little stressful.
I thought I would make a blog to write down my ideas and maybe those of you who read this could give me some tips.
So here's my first question? Any ideas for outdoor/barn wedding that seats 200 or more? I'll go as far as Abington. I've already looked at the Allandale, Maple Lane Farms was a little pricey. I've looked online at a couple of places, but new ideas are always welcome!
